The Big Gigs: Our critics' music picks
JAZZ
After interpreting pop hits by Van Morrison and Neil Diamond on her eclectic 2004 debut, Broadway star Luba Mason goes for a jazzy Brazilian vibe on "Krazy Love," a convincing collection featuring eight originals. The native New Yorker even does two songs in Portuguese, one featuring her husband, Latin music superstar Ruben Blades. Also on the album are Yellowjackets bassist Jimmy Haslip and Prince keyboardist Renato Neto. (7 & 9:30 p.m. Wed., Dakota, $12-$15.) (J.B.)
